Owner Occupants Get First Chance

When HUD homes are put on the market Owner Occupants are the only buyers allowed to make bids. The first ten days a property is on the market bidding is reserved for Owner Occupants. All bids are opened on the 11th day and if a bid is accepted the buyers agent is notified.

After bids are opened on the 11th day, if there is not an acceptable bid, investors may bid and bids are opened on a daily basis.
